Thursday night's high school football game between Minot and Bismarck High at the Community Bowl was postponed.

No makeup date has been set at this time.

Century's football game at Jamestown on Friday also has been postponed. It will now be played on Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m., with the site TBA. If Ernie Gates Field is not playable, the game will move to the Bowl at 4 p.m.

Legacy’s football game against Mandan on Friday has been postponed to Monday, Oct. 14 and moved to the Sanford Sports Complex at 6 p.m.

With that switch, Mandan’s football game against Williston, originally set for Wednesday, Oct. 16, will be played on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Starion Sports Complex. Game time is yet to be determined.

The West Region cross country meet also has been postponed. The meet, originally scheduled for Saturday, will be held on Tuesday in Jamestown or Dickinson depending on course conditions.

The BPS schools and Mandan will not be traveling to Fargo for the Scheels Invitational volleyball tournament on Friday and Saturday.

The state soccer tournament had already been postponed and will be played Monday through Wednesday at the Starion Sports Complex.

In Class B volleyball, Shiloh Christian's match against Flasher on Thursday night was postponed. It will be made up on Oct. 31.


Due to the winter storm, the Bismarck Tribune had an early deadline on Thursday night.

Scores of local and national games that were not finished at press time will be published in Saturday’s edition of the Tribune.
