The Bismarck Bobcats will have a new look next season.
New home and road sweaters were unveiled on Monday by the NAHL hockey team, featuring traditional home white uniforms and road blacks. Both new jerseys continue to feature gold as secondary main color.
The Bobcats will open the season Sept. 17 at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minn. All 26 NAHL teams will play four games in the lid-lifter, which runs through Sept. 21 at Blaine's Super Rink. Exact details for the Showcase, including times and opponents, will be released later in the summer.
The Bobcats' home opener is Sept. 27 against the Minnesota Wilderness.

The perennially challenging Central Division will have a new look next season. The St. Cloud Blizzard join the Bobcats, Aberdeen Wings, Austin Bruins, Minnesota Wilderness and Minot Minotauros. Aberdeen is the defending Robertson Cup and NAHL champion. Minot was the league runner-up in 2018. The Blizzard relocated to St. Cloud from Brookings, S.D., in June.
The Bobcats' first trip to St. Cloud is on week 2 of the season, Oct. 4-5.
The NAHL preseason schedule is expected to be released this week.
Last season, the Bobcats ranked eighth in the NAHL with 73 points and set a franchise record with points in 16 straight games at one point.
The NAHL now stands at 26 teams, up two from last year, with recent additions the New Mexico Ice Wolves and Maine Nordiques.
