MINOT AVOIDS SWEEP BY BOBCATS

Minot scored two third-period goals to rally past Bismarck for a 4-3 NAHL win at Maysa Arena on Sunday.

The Minotauros avoided the weekend sweep by the Bobcats, who won on Friday and Saturday in Bismarck.

Grant Loven tied the game 19 seconds into the final period for Minot. It remained 3-all until Taylor Lentz put the Minotauros ahead at the 13:27 mark.

Simon Morberg and Cooper Harr scored 67 seconds apart late in the second period to put the Bobcats ahead 3-2. The Bobcats' first goal came from Niki Jasko, his first of the season, midway through the opening period.

In the Central Division standings, the Bobcats are currently fourth, three points ahead of Minot. Bismarck hosts Aberdeen on Friday night at 7:15.
