SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The University of Mary built a 40-28 halftime lead and kept the University of Sioux Falls at bay in the second half for a women's college basketball victory on the road on Friday.
It was the second straight road win for the Marauders, who have won four straight games and six of their last seven to improve to 8-9 in the Northern Sun Conference and 12-11 overall.
Sioux Falls slipped to 13-8 overall and 10-7 in the NSIC.
U-Mary prevailed with balance, boasting five double-figure scorers. Cassie Askvig and Gabbie Bohl led the way with 18 points apiece, Lauren Rotunda added 14 and Macy Williams and Dani Williams pitched in with 10 each.
Kaely Hummel and Mariah Szymanski set the pace for Sioux Falls with 19 and 17 points each.
U-Mary moves on to Marahall, Minn., tonight to play Southwest Minnesota State.
The Marauder men fell 75-66.
Keith Hunter and Matthew Kreklow scored 17 points each.
