WARKENTIN'S HOMER LIFTS LARKS TO WIN
Matthew Warkentin's solo home run in the top of the ninth inning was the difference as the Bismarck Larks defeated Waterloo 4-3 in Northwoods League action on Tuesday night.
The Larks improved to 18-10 with the win, one game behind Duluth in the North Division standings. The season's first half ends on July 2.
Tristen Hudson worked 1 2/3 innings of relief on the mound to earn the win. Parker Harm got the last out to earn the save.
Cristian Montes and Ripken Reyes had two hits each for the Larks. Reyes finished with two RBI.
The two teams play a doubleheader on Wednesday set for 11:05 a.m. and 6:35 p.m.
