Minot State wrapped up the regular season Northern Sun title with a second consecutive sweep of the University of Mary on Saturday afternoon.

With wins of 13-2 and 10-6 at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, the Beavers sealed the No. 1 seed in next week's NSIC tournament with a 31-6 record, two games better than No. 11-ranked Augustana (29-8).

Minot State had two four-run innings in Game 2 compared to one by the Marauders.

The top three batters in the U-Mary order combined for six hits. Seth Siverson singled twice and scored both times. Connor Doll also went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs, while Jaxon Ford had two knocks and two RBI.

Mason Huntley turned in five strong innings on the mound. The third of four pitchers, Huntley allowed just one unearned on three hits.

Darrell Doll doubled and had three RBIs for the Beavers.

Minot State rolled 13-2 in the opener as Doll launched a three-run homer in the third.

The Marauders were held to three hits, committed three errors and used six pitchers. Luke Johnson tossed the final four frames, allowing two runs -- one earned -- on four hits with three strikeouts.
