SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Starling Joseph hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning, leading the Spokane Indians to an 8-7 win over the Eugene Emeralds on Wednesday.
The home run by Joseph scored Diosbel Arias and Curtis Terry to tie the game 7-7.
The Indians took the lead for good in the eighth when Hasuan Viera drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Cristian Inoa.
Werner Leal (1-1) got the win with three innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Cam Sanders (0-1) took the loss in the Northwest League game. Emmanuel Clase retired the side in order for his third save of the season.
Spokane took advantage of some erratic Eugene pitching, drawing a season-high nine walks in its victory.
