The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has scheduled an exam to select candidates for the position of district game warden.

The test is at 10 a.m. on Sept. 6 at the agency's main office in Bismarck. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a bachelor’s degree. They also must have a valid driver’s license and a current North Dakota peace officer license, or be eligible to be licensed. Anyone with a felony conviction is not eligible.

Applicants must register no later than Sept. 2 by submitting an online application through the North Dakota State Job Openings website.

District game wardens enforce game and fish laws and related regulations, as well as assist in public relations, education programs, and hunter and boat safety education. They're paid $3,900 per month.
