The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is seeking applicants for the Recreational Trails Program Advisory Committee.
The Recreational Trails Program is a matching grant program that provides funding for both motorized and nonmotorized recreational trail projects. It's administered at the state level through Parks and Recreation and at the national level through the Federal Highway Administration.

The advisory committee helps rank projects seeking money. Members must be recreational trail users and represent trail interests such as snowmobiling, paddling or mountain biking. They're appointed to three-year terms by the state parks director. The committee meets at least once per year, with members reimbursed for mileage and hotel expenses.
