WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the driver of a U-Haul truck was killed when he was struck by an SUV at an intersection near West Fargo.

The patrol says the victim's truck was struck on the driver's side by a Jeep Cherokee shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday. Both vehicles entered the ditch after impact. The 34-year-old man in the truck died at the scene. A 29-year-old woman driving the Jeep was taken to Sanford Hospital.
