The North Dakota Firefighter's Museum in Garrison is inducting two men into its Hall of Fame next month.

The 2019 inductees are Jay Wolsky of Carrington and John Hocking of Minot. The induction ceremony and banquet is Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Garrison City Auditorium, beginning with an open house at the museum at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $25; for children 12 and under, $10.

Wolsky, a longtime Devils Lake firefighter, is an active Carrington firefighter. He's a former fire chief of U.S. Naval Base Adak in Alaska. He's president of the Devils Lake Volunteer Firemen.

Hocking is a recently retired longtime Minot firefighter who served in various capacities including battalion chief. He's past-president of the North Dakota Fire Prevention Association.
