More than 6,000 deer gun licenses remain after North Dakota’s license lottery.
Only resident applicants who were unsuccessful in the lottery can apply for the remaining licenses, according to the state Game and Fish Department. Online applications begin July 10. The deadline for applying is July 24.
The state this year made 64,500 deer gun licenses available. More than 78,000 hunters applied for a license, in addition to about 13,500 gratis applicants. Lottery results are available on the Game and Fish website, www.gf.nd.gov.
