WEST FARGO — Prosecutors have charged the driver of a vehicle involved in a June crash that killed 38-year-old Johnny Grey.
Daniel Aaron Dal Pozzo, 34, of West Fargo, faces a felony charge of criminal vehicular homicide for allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit, according to documents filed Friday in Cass County District Court.
On the night of June 22, Grey was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Dal Pozzo that crashed in the 1400 block of 10th Street Southwest in West Fargo.
The car was going south on 10th Street Southwest when it went into the wrong lane and struck several parked vehicles that were unoccupied, court papers show.

Dal Pozzo was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and was placed under arrest in the emergency room, court papers show.
Authorities obtained a search warrant to take two blood samples from Dal Pozzo. The first test found his blood-alcohol level was 0.227%, and the second test found it was 0.212%, court papers show. The legal limit to drive is 0.08%.
