A 26-year-old Bismarck man died early Friday in a vehicle rollover north of Wilton on U.S. Highway 83, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
The man was driving a 1997 Ford pickup about 5.5 miles north of Wilton about 2:15 a.m. when the truck left the roadway and partially entered the median. The driver then overcorrected and rolled the vehicle, coming to rest on the northbound roadway.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, the Highway Patrol said.
The driver’s name was not released Friday pending notification of next of kin.
