Shane Reinhart, 45, Bismarck, died July 6, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at St. Johns Church, McClusky. Lunch will follow the service.
Shane Norman Reinhart, son of Kenneth and Mary (Beissel) Reinhart, was born on June 12, 1973, in Farmington, Minn. He graduated from McClusky High School in 1991. After graduating from the Diesel Mechanic Program in Devils Lake in 1992, he traveled and worked at various jobs, learning new trades and skills, until he started his own construction business, Reinhart Construction. In 2010, he suffered a serious traumatic brain injury at work, which became one of the biggest hurdles in his life, ending his career in construction and rendering him medically unable to work. In 2012, Shane moved to the Bismarck area to assist his parents.
Shane enjoyed the great outdoors immensely. Hunting, fishing, golf and cruising back roads looking at beautiful landscapes and sunsets, were among his favorites. He had a big and generous heart. He cared about others and was willing to assist in any way that he could.
Shane is survived by his mother, Mary Reinhart; sister, Dawn Menning; brother, Todd (Kendra) Menning; children, Andrew (Carly) Miller, Anna Weber, and Alex Goodwin; three nieces; one nephew; three great-nieces; and four great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Reinhart; and his grandparents, Frank and Sophie Beissel, and Dan and Alice Reinhart. (Bismarck Funeral Home)
