Richard Wesley Radspinner, 65, Rapid City, S.D., passed away Nov. 3, 2018, at Rapid City Hospice House.
He was born Aug. 20, 1953, in Bismarck, to Richard E. and Irene R. (Schultz) Radspinner. He attended Bismarck public schools and graduated from Bismarck High School.
Richard was an accomplished gymnast, diver, and martial artist during his high school years. He held several occupations throughout his life, including working his way from bus boy to executive chef. He became a massage therapist and did massage for the YMCA. After retiring he did jobs as a handyman and woodworker. In 2014, he moved to Rapid City to live with his son where he enjoyed woodworking and dreamed of building a cabin in the Black Hills.
Richard is survived by his son, Conan; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; and three sisters. He did not wish for a funeral, only to have his family and friends remember the good times they had.
