Patty Kay Wilhelm, 54, passed away May 28, 2019, at Methodist Hospital surrounded by her family.
Patty was born on April 22, 1965, in Dickinson, to Tony and Nettie (Keller) Wilhelm.
Patty was a remarkable woman. She was strong, brave, fiercely independent and so courageous. She lived her life to the fullest and did things on her own terms. Patty worked full time at Park Nicolette Health Services as a Doctor's Assistant for the past 15 years and was loved by all she worked with. According to her coworkers, Patty was empathtic, professional and more than capable of doing her job duties. She often put them to shame. Patty had many friends and valued their friendships immensely. She was so loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Troy Wohlk.
Patty is survived by her son, Trent, Bismarck; brothers, Vic Stiefel (Daralyn), Bismarck, Bill (Patti Jo), Kelly, both of Beulah; sister, Linda Wohlk (special friend Randy Mattern), Washburn; and the love of her life, Kevin Hook, Minnetonka, Minn.; his son, Kyle (Jessica) Ham Lake, Minn.; daughter, Kirsten, Champlin, Minn.; their children, Rocky, Kolt and Jordan; nieces, Shila, Jessica, Kacey; nephews, Korey and Chance; best friend, Dawn Reinhardt; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A gathering celebrating her life was held Thursday, May 30, at 2257 164th Lane NE, Ham Lake, Minn.
A funeral service will be held in Beulah at 11 a.m. June 10, at Zion Lutheran Church. Her cremains will be given to her son, Trent, and spread where the deer and antelope roam.
