Myron Becher, 79, Mandan, passed away Nov. 29, 2018, at a Bismarck Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Mandan United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
Myron was born June 14, 1939, at New Salem, to Oscar and Esther (Ulmer) Becher. He was raised and educated in New Salem and Washington, and graduated from Mandan High School in 1957. On May 9, 1959, he married Rose Neibauer. He worked for Cass Clay as a delivery driver to grocery stores for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose; two daughters, Lori Kuehl, Mandan, and Kim Schaefbauer, Montana; sister, Arlene Flemmer, Bismarck; five grandchildren, Jennifer Lyon (Lee Auch), Amanda (Hunter) Cook, Ashley (Austin) Juhnke, Marie Schaefbauer (Jordan Barnes), and Jessica Becher; three great-grandchildren, James, Luke, and Hensley; two nephews, Brad and Brian Flemmer; and his dog and best friend, Buddy.
Myron was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Russ.
