Leslie Joseph Fleury was born Feb. 13, 1955, in Fort Ord, Calif., the son of Leo and Nancy (Bales) Fleury. Les grew up and attended school in San Jose, Calif., graduating from Camden High School. Les worked at various restaurants in the San Jose area. While working at Vintage House, he met Lisa Mullin. Les and Lisa married on July 14, 1979. They were blessed with two children, Justin and Kristen. The couple made their home in the San Jose area and it was here where they raised their family. Les began working in the construction business and became well known for his own company, BAD – Bay Area Drywall.

Les and Lisa moved to Penn Valley, Calif., at Lake Wildwood, later moving to North Dakota in 2011. At each stop, Les used his eye for remodeling to flip houses. He also worked for contractors and did various odd jobs at each stay where his skills served him well.

Les enjoyed sports, especially his daughter's, and all the Bay Area teams. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his dogs, BBQ and cooking. Les loved animals and never left home without Buddy whether it was work or play.
