Kenneth Lee Bahm, 65, Shields, passed away Oct. 7, 2018, in Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan, with the Rev. Lori Lundblad officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Kenneth was born March 29, 1953, in Mandan, to Glen and Arlene (Kelstrom) Bahm. He was raised in Shields, and graduated from Fort Yates/Standing Rock High School. He served in the U.S. Army and farmed and ranched his whole life. He married Chip Storick in July 1973. He also worked at Prairie Learning Center. He served on the Fort Yates Public School Board. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and pinochle, softball and basketball. He always had a gift for picking out a good herd and always had luck at the black jack tables. He was an avid Green Bay Packers' fan. Kenneth loved spending time with his family and friends, but especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Arlene Bahm, Shields; two daughters, Gina (Wynn Bailey) Bahm and Amanda Bahm, both of Bismarck; two sons, Glen Bahm, Shields, and Kerry (Kermitta) Two Hearts, Sioux Falls, S.D.; sister, Glenda (Ron) Gross, Shields; three brothers, Lee (Lou) Bahm, Menoken, Allan (Joan) Bahm, Lark, and Kevin (Wendy), Bahm, Carrington; 10 grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Derrick, Meggan, Cody, Tatum, DeShae, Kayde, Kerrigan and Kash; one great-grandchild, Dezmond; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bahm; and nephew, Shane Bahm.
