Jordan Paul Jahner, 25, Naples, Fla., passed away peacefully Sept. 8, 2019, at home.
A funeral service is planned at Zion Lutheran Church 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, with a lunch to follow in the church basement. Burial will take place at a later date.
Jordan was born in Bismarck on Dec. 4, 1993, the son of Steven Jahner and Melinda (Ellefson) Jahner. Jordan grew up a military brat and was fortunate to travel more in his 25 years than most people do in a lifetime. Jordan attended grades 1-3 in Crofton, Md., grades 4-5 in Heidelberg, Germany, middle school in Bismarck, and graduated high school in Stafford, Va. He made many lifelong friends along the way while loving so many outdoor activities. Jordan enjoyed working as a mechanic in Springfield, Ohio and as a mechanic and shop manager in Fort Pierce, Fla.
He recently completed EMT training and will receive an honorary firefighter degree which he was working to obtain. Braxton College is starting a firefighter scholarship in his name.
