Eva (Hurt) Larson, 56, Bismarck, formerly of South Heart, passed away Feb. 6, 2019, in her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Century Baptist Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Dave Gallagher officiating. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date.
Eva was born March 8, 1962, in Dickinson to Frank and Mary (Krance) Hurt. She was raised in South Heart. She married David Larson in 1987 and moved to California. In 1990, her daughter, Stacey Larson was born. Stacey was the pride and joy of her life. In 2016 Eva and David moved back to North Dakota.
Eva is survived by her husband, David; one daughter, Stacey; three brothers, Frank (Lucy) Hurt, South Heart, Ray (Tammy) Hurt, Dickinson, George (Tami) Hurt, South Heart; three sisters, Mona (Todd) Livdahl, Bismarck, Deb (Phil Corio) Simon, Denver, Diane (Kim) Martin, Bismarck; and in-laws Mark (Pat) Larson, Garrison, Leland (Hong) Larson, Minneapolis, Joanna (LeRoy) Bettenhausen, Williston, Kathy (Marvin) Fandrich, Aberdeen, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Hurt; her two sisters, Mary Ann Dzykowski and Nancy Buechler; brother-in-law, Jon Simon; and in-laws Virgil and Norma Larson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation in her memory to the Bismarck Cancer Center.
