Donna was born on July 18, 1930, on a small farm in Severn Township, and was a resident of Bismarck for 51 years. She formerly resided in Montpelier and Jamestown. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1948.
Donna was a devoted wife and mother, who served her family with unconditional love. Her faith was great as she attended Bethel Lutheran Church in Bismarck. She worked as a secretary at the creamery in Jamestown where she met her husband, Harold. They raised five children together. She also worked as a secretary at North Central Engineers in Jamestown, and when they moved to Bismarck, she worked for the Bismarck Chamber of Commerce. She volunteered at her church, Senior Center, Dakota Stage, Gateway to Science and Germans from Russia.
She loved playing cards and games with all her family and friends. Her children have been truly blessed to share their lives with her for so many wonderful years. She was also blessed to have a wonderful friend, Robert Friesz.
A special thank-you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center and Hospice for taking such good care of mom.
Donna is survived by her children, Linda (David) Fournier, Bruce (Renea) Labrensz, Daniel Labrensz, and Neil (Marcene) Labrensz, all of Bismarck. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, John Fournier, Tim Labrensz, Tom Labrensz, Todd Labrensz, Angel Labrensz, Jeremy Labrensz, Luke Labrensz, Nicole Labrensz, Laura Muir; 23 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
