Darlene Wetsch, 84, Bismarck, died April 30, 2019, in a Bismarck care center.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Church of Corpus Christi. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Interment will be held at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Darlene Joyce (Seelye) Wetsch was born May 14, 1934, to Orville and Helen (Johnson) Seelye at her grandparent’s home in Fort Rice. She married Val Wetsch Sept. 22, 1954.
She is survived by her children, Ron Wetsch, Bismarck, Tim and Laurie Wetsch, Mandan, Valerie and Bill Sievert, Bismarck; her grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Wetsch, Brandon and Catherine Wetsch, Chris and Kristin Wetsch, Tyler and Ashley Wetsch, Ashley and Derrick Hertz, Adam and Kristine Wetsch, Jordan Sievert, Thomas Sievert; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Darlene is preceded in death by her beloved husband Val; her daughter-in-law, Linda Wetsch; her parents; mother and father-in-law; Magdalina Wetsch; her siblings, Duane, Del and Lavonne, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Betty Wetsch, John and Genny Wetsch, George and Margaret Wetsch, Mike and Rose Wetsch, Ray Wetsch, Leona George, and Eddie Wetsch; as well as several nephews and nieces.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Augusta Place for taking such wonderful care of Mom and for all of the love and support they showed Dad before his passing.
