On Feb. 3, 2018, Bruce Morast, husband, dad, brother, papa, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 72.
Bruce was born in Beulah, and also raised in Zap and Halliday, son of Edwin and Hilma Morast (predeceased), and served in the Army National Guard from 1966-72. Bruce resided in Chandler, Ariz., during his adult life and worked as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry until his retirement. Bruce will always be known for his love of country music and bringing joy to all those who heard him play.
Bruce will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Jeanne Morast; his daughters, Amber (Alex) Mitchell and Nicole (Evan) Musikantow; stepdaughters, Melinda (Matthew) Conway and Valerie Shand; his brothers, Leland (Kaylen) Morast and Lyle (Carol) Morast; and his 11 grandchildren. Bruce will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at The American Legion Post 35, 2240 W Chandler Blvd., Chandler, Ariz.
