The funeral for Anna I. Entzie will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Zion United Methodist Church in Lehr. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service following. Burial will be at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr.
Anna Irene (Hauff) Entzie, daughter of John and Bertha (Fregien) Hauff, was born April 1, 1929. Anna graduated from Kulm High School class of ‘48. She earned a two-year teaching certificate and taught in country schools for five years. She married Edwin Entzie June 18, 1950. They purchased a farm eight miles SE of Lehr, she remained on this farm for the remainder of her life. She especially treasured spending time in her garden. One of the highlights of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna died Feb. 3, 2018, at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek.
Anna is survived by her three children, Alyce (Eric) Woodard, Lehr, Verna (Dennis) McCallum, Bismarck, and Allen (Marcy) Entzie, Lehr; five grandchildren, Alex, Carl, Thea, and Jacob Entzie, and Megan McCallum; one great-grandson, William Hopkins; and three sisters-in-law.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; grandson, Billy Hopkins; her sibling; and loving parents.
