Authorities have charged two men after a traffic stop in Bismarck in which police say they seized more than 2,700 oxycodone pills worth about $189,000 on the street.

Officer Zachari Meyer alleges in an affidavit that Whitney Bearstail, 36, of Bismarck, was driving a vehicle stopped by police on South Washington Street about 2 a.m. Thursday. The drugs were found in a duffel bag and in the pants being worn by Deangelo Orlando, a 29-year-old Detroit man who was a passenger in the vehicle, Meyer said.

Orlando faces felony drug possession and conspiracy charges. His bond has been set at $75,000 cash.

Bearstail faces a felony drug conspiracy charge. His bond is set at $2,500 cash.

Court documents do not list an attorney for either man.
