The North Dakota Insurance Department is hosting nine events around the state related to Medicare Part D annual enrollment.
A Bismarck event is scheduled Friday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Quality Inn, 1030 E. Interstate Ave. The hours have been extended this year due to high attendance in past years.
The events will provide Medicare beneficiaries of all ages with the opportunity to review, plan or shop for coverage options with the assistance of trained, volunteer counselors.

“These annual enrollment events are one of the most valuable services the department provides to individuals eligible for Medicare and Medicare beneficiaries in North Dakota,” Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread said.
Open enrollment for Medicare health or prescription drug plans (Part D) runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7.
