The North Dakota Heritage Center and State Library will be hosting the Marketplace for Kids Education Day on Tuesday. The event is designed to provide a variety of experimental learning classes and activities to help students develop innovation, enhance personal development and explore career options.

The program targets grades three through eight but is open to all ages. The day will begin with local music from the Horizon Middle School Husky Singers, the National Anthem sung by Kennedy Harris from Mandan and keynote speaker Monica Hannan from KFYR TV.

The day will feature a variety of classes, including Main Street ND, Coding with Microbits and Discover Land Surveying. Students will be showcasing their ideas in the North Dakota State Library Building from 11:50 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.

Members of the local business community will be listening to students' pitches and presenting ribbons, and the event is open to the public.
