Four cases of salmonella infections in North Dakota have been linked to frozen, raw ground tuna, according to a report by the North Dakota Department of Health released on Wednesday.

There's currently a multistate outbreak of salmonella infections tied to frozen, ground tuna from Jensen Tuna, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

On Monday, the company voluntarily recalled frozen ground tuna. Restaurants are being advised to not sell tuna from the company.

The CDC has received reports of 13 cases of salmonella infections from seven states as of Tuesday. Illnesses started on dates ranging from Jan. 8 to March 20. Two cases resulted in hospitalizations and no deaths have been reported.
