The third annual Otter Creek 55 Mountain Bike Race and Festival is slated for 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Harmon Lake.
The event features six hours of live music to welcome racers in from one-, two- or four-lap races around Harmon Lake in Mandan.
A distance for everyone — 16, 29 and 55 miles — with more than 1,000 feet of climbing per lap offers a challenge from the novice to the pro in the heat of the North Dakota July sun.
Live music is provided by Ty Ktyor from noon to 2 p.m., the McMahon Bros. from 2 to 4 p.m. and Shawn Oban from 4 to 6 p.m.
Registration, $75, closes on Thursday. There will be no event-day registration.
This event is free to the general public. Prairie Wind Kite Co. will be flying kites at the festival.
