The Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC plans to unveil the results of its recent survey gauging business performance in the Bismarck-Mandan area and national level at this year’s Economic Outlook Forum, taking place from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bismarck’s Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center.
The event will feature a panel of professionals, representing a variety of industries, shedding light on the factors influencing the local and national economy.
Roger Tutterow, a professor of economics at Kennesaw State University who serves as director of its Econometric Center, will deliver the keynote on the current economic, business and political climate.
House Speaker Lawrence Klemin, R-Bismarck, House Minority Leader Josh Boschee, D-Fargo, and Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner, R-Dickinson, will partake in a legislative panel discussion.
There also will be an industry panel discussion, moderated by Stacey Thomas, of Specialized Cleaning & Restoration Inc. The panel includes Chris Baumgartner, of Basin Electric Power Cooperative, David Ripplinger, of North Dakota State University, Kurt Schley, of CHI St. Alexius Health, and Jen Wilson, of Kirkwood Mall.
Karel Sovak, of the University of Mary, will present the Economic Outlook survey results.
