Gerald Vetter, president of the Light of Christ Catholic Schools, welcomed the St. Mary's Central High class of 2020 and their parents and guests to commencement in the socially distanced school gymnasium on Sunday afternoon. "This has been far from a normal year ... but it will not define you," said Vetter in his remarks to graduates. The class was the first to graduate from the new school and the first to have distance learning for the final academic quarter of classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
