More than 600 school board members, administrators and others are expected to attend the North Dakota School Boards Association's annual convention Thursday and Friday at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.
The convention will include clinic sessions, a seminar on school-related laws and mandated training for newly elected school board members.

Attendees will discuss timely educational topics including behavioral and mental health, family engagement, rural education, weapons in schools and North Dakota's armed first responders program adopted by the Legislature in 2019.
