Townsquare Media is hosting the seventh annual Dakota Garden Expo at the Bismarck Events Center from 3 to 8 p.m. April 5 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6.
New this year are a variety of seminars, presented by North Dakota State University Extension Services. Session titles include “5 Tips to Growing a Great Lawn," “Low-Maintenance Ponds,” Growing Tropical Plants” and “Tips on Growing Potatoes.”
More than 115 businesses will display their home and garden services and products for sale, including Plant Perfect, a variety of landscapers, home improvement businesses and indoor and outdoor decorators. Kids will have the opportunity to play in the large sandbox, and food will be provided by Starving Rooster.
“This show is not only a favorite among consumers, it’s the seed to launch our local businesses into the spring season.” said Mark Crump, market president of Townsquare Media in Bismarck.
Admission is $5 for adults or $3 for adults with the donation of a non-perishable food item. Children 12 and younger are admitted free. All food items collected will be given to the Great Plains Food Bank.
