An arrest warrant was issued Friday for Taylor Dziura, 19, who is accused of stealing $3,000 worth of items from the women's locker room at the Mandan Brave Center.
On Sept. 13, a Mandan Police officer was dispatched to the center, 901 Division St. N.W., for a report of items stolen from the locker room, according to an affidavit filed in the case.
Electronics — including two school-issued iPads — a credit card, clothing, backpacks and numerous other items had been taken.
Police reviewed video surveillance footage and observed an individual carrying several of these items to a gray Chrysler Aspen. Photographs of the individual and the vehicle were posted on the Mandan Police Department's Facebook page, and several names were reported to the police, one of which was Dziura.
Officers spoke with Dziura, who allegedly told the officers she had gone into the locker room to take a shower, saw the items and decided to take them.
Some of the items were recovered in her bedroom. Police also found a bag she had ditched in a garbage can at a Bismarck car wash.
Dziura has been charged with Class C felony theft of property.
