A McLean County deputy sheriff made a traffic stop on a 2015 Honda Accord for erratic driving on N.D. 41 about 13 miles north of Turtle Lake.
During the stop made at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, the officer detected behavior he found evasive and obtained consent to search the vehicle where officers located 22 packages of illegal drugs in a hidden compartment between the back seat and trunk, according to the McLean County Sheriff's Department.
Testing identified the content of 20 packages to be methamphetamine, weighing 22.69 pounds, and the other two packages as marijuana, weighing 2.15 pounds.
Selica Fender, 34, of Sacramento, Calif., was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
Fender remains in custody at the McLean County Detention Center on felony drug offenses.
