Retired Bismarck eye doctor goes missing in Montana

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office of Bozeman, Mont., is searching for a retired Bismarck-based ophthalmologist who went missing near the Three Forks, Mont., area as early as Friday afternoon, according to a department statement.

Searchers found a vehicle and trailer belonging to Dr. Patrick J. Fitzpatrick, formerly of the Dakota Eye Institute in Bismarck, next to a pea field south of Willow Creek on Saturday.

Anyone with information about Fitzpatrick's whereabouts is encouraged to call 406-582-2100.
