Pipeline security worker charged with assault

A Dakota Access security worker has been charged with felony aggravated assault for allegedly punching a woman and knocking out two of her teeth.

South Central District Judge James Hill set Kyle Thompson's bond at $10,000 cash for the Saturday incident, as well as two other cases from 2017.

Thompson, 31, may have no contact with the woman. He is held at the Burleigh-Morton County Detention Center.

He was involved in a conflict in October 2016 during the Dakota Access protests when protesters rammed his truck.
