Two Bismarck apartment building residents reported stolen packages.
Around noon Thursday and between 12:07 and 12:40 p.m. Friday, packages were stolen from two separate apartment buildings, located at the 1100 block of Bowen Avenue and the 2000 block of Koch Drive respectively, said Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena.
From the Bowen Avenue building, someone took a package containing a $360 iPhone. And from the entryway of the Koch Drive building, $55 worth of cosmetics were taken.
Buschena said theft of packages tends to rise as more are shipped during the holidays. He suggested residents make sure packages are shipped to addresses where someone is available to pick them up upon delivery rather than having them left outside doors.
