A 37-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after he was shot in southeast Mandan Monday evening.

Mandan Police Department suspects the incident was isolated. No arrests have been made and Lt. Pat Haug would not say whether the department has a suspect at this time.

Police responded at 9:11 p.m., to the area of Third Street Southeast and 24th Avenue Southeast, just off the "Strip." The man was transported to the hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
