A Bismarck man has been charged with sexually assaulting two juvenile girls.

Jeremy John Frohlich, 33, has been charged with four felony counts of gross sexual imposition in Morton and Burleigh counties.

Earlier this month, Bismarck police received a report of a juvenile girl who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Frohlich several years ago at his apartment in north Bismarck, according to court records. She told police she had been between 6 and 11 years old at the time of the alleged assault.

About a week after Bismarck police received the report, Mandan police officers interviewed another juvenile girl who said Frohlich touched her "inappropriately" during two separate incidents, court records show. The alleged incidents occurred at a residence in south Mandan when the girl was about 9 years old.

Bismarck police interviewed Frohlich last week, during which he denied the allegations, according to a police affidavit. When an officer asked if a person who "molested kids" needed psychiatric help, Frohlich reportedly became emotional and told the officer, "I need help."

Frohlich is currently at the Burleigh-Morton Detention Center.
