The state dropped charges against a Minot man accused of distributing meth.
In the case against John Mincey, four felony counts and a misdemeanor charge were dismissed without prejudice.
Mincey had been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, prohibited possession of a firearm and driving under suspension after the Northwest Narcotics Task Force seized 121.7 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop this summer.
A task force search of the vehicle found the meth, which has an estimated street value of $12,170 and was sent to the State Crime Lab for further testing. Also located in the vehicle was a loaded handgun and $7,000.
