A Bismarck man faces two felony charges in connection with an incident late Thursday night.
Merle Marrowbone Jr., 34, was arrested at a residence on South 12th Street, according to a police affidavit.
According to the affidavit, a 17-year-old girl told her mother that Marrowbone came up behind her as she was sitting in a chair watching television. Marrowbone allegedly rubbed her shoulders and the sides of her body and also placed his hands under her clothing and touched her breasts.
The woman, who knew the man, told him to leave the house and called police.
Bismarck police officers found the man in the bathroom with a kitchen knife. He refused to come out of the bathroom, and officers used a Taser on him when they felt he might hurt them or himself.
Marrowbone on Friday was charged in South Central District Court with sexual assault and preventing arrest, class C felonies.
