Bismarck drug bust nets $189,000 in oxycodone

A Detroit man is in custody after Bismarck police say they found more than 2,700 oxycodone pills in his possession during a Thursday morning traffic stop.

Deangelo Orlando, 29, was arrested about 2 a.m. when police stopped him on South Washington Street, Lt. Luke Gardiner said. The pills, with an estimated street value of $189,000, were found during a search of his vehicle, authorities said.

Formal charges are pending against Orlando.
