The North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition will host its winter conference on Wednesday in Bismarck. The event will bring together national and local experts, mentors with experience implementing sustainable farming and ranching practices, and those interested in learning about these innovative ideas.

This year’s theme is “Regenerating Land, Livestock and People.” Experts will be presenting from across the country, including Peter Ballerstedt from Barenbrug USA in Oregon to discuss diet, health and the environment; Steve Campbell from Idaho to share his firsthand experience with easy keeping of cows; Donn Nelson from Oakes to talk about innovative farming and ranching practices; and 2018 Leopold Conservation Award winners Jeremy and Sarah Wilson from Jamestown. Registration is available on the NDGLC website at www.ndglc.com/events.
