The eighth annual Bucks for Bras charity event will be held 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse, 118 S. Third St. in Bismarck.
Last year’s fundraiser earned more than $50,000 for the American Cancer Society and the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. This year, a fundraising goal has been set at $55,000.
Founded by Borrowed Bucks manager Brad Erickson, in honor of his wife, Cammy, a breast cancer survivor, Bucks for Bras includes a silent auction, games and giveaways as well as complimentary appetizers, desserts and drinks. The event will culminate in a live bra auction, where local models display one-of-a-kind creative and glamorized bras, custom-designed by area artists, groups and individuals in the community.
New this year, Bucks for Bras will be holding an online auction at 32auctions.com with up to 20 great items starting in early October and ending with the silent auction held at Bucks for Bras.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse, Tand Construction, the Bismarck Cancer Center or online at www.bucksforbras.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the day of the event for $25 each.
