Bismarck Parks and Recreation District is conducting a survey to provide data for a Facilities Master Plan, with a focus on the BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center, the Capital Racquet & Fitness Center, the VFW Sports Center and the Wachter Aquatic Complex.
Bismarck citizens are encouraged take the online survey, which asks about recreational facility needs and priorities. The link to the survey can be found at www.bisparks.org. Residents wanting to complete a paper version can go to the BPRD administrative office, 400 E. Front Ave., to receive a copy. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The survey will be available through March 26.
BPRD hosted focus groups, stakeholder meetings, staff meetings and a public input session in January to gather information. About 3,000 surveys were mailed to a random sampling of Bismarck residents to provide statistically valid results.
The results of all the information gathered will be used in BPRD’s 2020-2022 strategic planning process in April.
