A Bismarck Police officer closes the west entrance to the south Walmart at 2717 Rock Island Place after a bomb threat was made Tuesday afternoon.

Bismarck police found no suspicious items after investigating an anonymous bomb threat made to the south Bismarck Walmart that evacuated the store Tuesday afternoon. 

Police say a caller phoned the store's Subway restaurant around 2:22 p.m. and said there was a bomb outside the eatery.

Walmart managers evacuated the store. Police have set up a perimeter around the building. 

The Bismarck bomb squad investigated. Bismarck police announced around 3:40 p.m. that Walmart resumed normal operations.
