Conrad Torok, 19, of Bismarck, is one of two men who allegedly broke into an East Rosser Avenue apartment and assaulted a man. The man suffered a stab wound that punctured a lung, required multiple surgeries and caused him to be hospitalized for several days, an affidavit says.
Torok and another man, Malik Chipps, 19, had been at the apartment on Sept. 17 to collect a drug debt, police say. The victim told police two men attacked him as he slept on the morning of Sept. 18.
Torok faces a felony robbery charge, and another felony for failure to register as a sex offender, according to court documents. He made his initial court appearance Friday and is being held in the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. No attorney is listed for him in court documents.
